YouTuber Jack Doherty Arrested in Miami on Drug Possession Charges

Miami, Florida — Popular YouTuber Jack Doherty, known for his high-risk prank videos and confrontational street content, was arrested early Saturday morning in Miami on multiple charges, including drug possession, according to police records.

Authorities say the 22-year-old influencer was recording video content when he attempted to interact with police officers in the middle of a roadway, obstructing traffic. Officers then detained Doherty, and during a subsequent search, discovered what they described as “half of an orange oval-shaped pill marked with the number 3,” believed to be a Schedule II amphetamine. Police also reported finding three suspected cannabis cigarettes.

Doherty, who has built a massive online presence with more than 15 million YouTube subscribers and tens of millions of followers across TikTok and Instagram, is widely known for pranks and stunts such as “I got kicked off a cruise” and “I crashed into a cop car.” His content often features altercations with strangers, with Doherty retreating behind his bodyguard during confrontations.

As of Saturday afternoon, it remained unclear whether Doherty had secured legal representation. A representative listed on his social media accounts did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Authorities have not yet announced when Doherty is expected to appear in court.
