Maxey, Barlow Lead 76ers to Fourth Straight Win Over Clippers

INGLEWOOD, Calif. – The Philadelphia 76ers extended their winning streak to four games Monday night, defeating the Los Angeles Clippers 128-113 behind a dominant performance from Tyrese Maxey and Dominick Barlow.

Maxey scored 29 points, including seven 3-pointers, while Barlow added 26 points and 16 rebounds, helping the Sixers maintain control throughout the game. Joel Embiid also contributed 24 points as he continues to regain full strength following a right ankle injury. Despite missing All-Star recognition, the trio showcased why Philadelphia remains a formidable force in the Eastern Conference.

Philadelphia jumped to an early lead, outpacing the Clippers 72-53 at halftime. The Sixers maintained the advantage throughout the game, at one point leading by 23 points, and never trailed. Even as Los Angeles outscored Philadelphia 34-28 in the third quarter, the Sixers held a comfortable 100-87 lead heading into the fourth.

The Clippers were led by Kawhi Leonard, who tallied 29 points, including two dunks and a 3-pointer in the final quarter, and Jordan Miller, who added 21 points off the bench. However, Los Angeles struggled to sustain a run, and Leonard finished the game on the bench as the deficit remained too large to overcome.

Los Angeles played without James Harden, who missed his second straight game for personal reasons, while Philadelphia was without Paul George, serving a 25-game suspension for violating the NBA’s anti-drug program. Despite these absences, both teams showed depth, but it was the 76ers’ combination of sharpshooting, rebounds, and consistent scoring that proved decisive.

With the win, Philadelphia improves to 11-10 without George, while the Clippers remain in contention, posting an 8-3 record over their last 11 games as they fight to secure at least a spot in the play-in tournament.

Looking ahead, the 76ers will travel to take on the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday to finish their back-to-back, while the Clippers return home to host the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday night.
