Damian Lillard added another trophy to his collection at NBA All-Star Saturday, capturing the 2026 State Farm 3-Point Contest for the third time in four years. With a score of 29 in the final round, Lillard edged Phoenix Suns’ Devin Booker, who finished with 27 points, and Charlotte Hornets rookie Kon Knueppel, who placed third with 17.
Lillard, wearing his Portland Trail Blazers uniform, made 21 of 27 shots in the championship, including a “From the Logo” shot worth three points. Despite Devin Booker’s strong effort and perfect racks in the final, he missed his last three money-ball shots, giving Lillard the edge.
The contest featured eight of the league’s top shooters, including five 2026 NBA All-Stars: Booker, Tyrese Maxey, Donovan Mitchell, Jamal Murray, and Norman Powell. Lillard, already a two-time 3-point champion in 2023 and 2024, now joins Larry Bird and Craig Hodges as the only players with three wins in the event’s history.
The two-round contest tested precision under pressure, with the top three scorers from the first round advancing to the championship. Lillard and Booker both advanced with 27 points in round one, while Kon Knueppel, making his debut, scored 27 to secure a spot in the final.
Even sidelined from NBA games this season due to a torn Achilles, Lillard proved he’s still one of the league’s deadliest shooters, dominating All-Star Saturday and cementing his place among the 3-point contest legends.
