
The 2025 Country Music Awards delivered a star-studded night of performances, surprises, and record-breaking wins, with Grammy winner Lainey Wilson taking center stage both as host and multi-award winner.
Wilson opened the ceremony with a musical monologue alongside Keith Urban, performing hits including Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy)”, Chris Stapleton’s “White Horse”, and Little Big Town’s “Girl Crush”. Her standout night was capped with multiple wins, including Single of the Year for “4x4xU” and her album Whirlwind being nominated among the top contenders.
Other major highlights included Luke Combs winning Entertainer of the Year, while Zach Top was recognized as New Artist of the Year, marking his first CMA win. Iconic duo Brooks & Dunn made history by claiming the record for the most CMA awards of all time.
Vince Gill received the prestigious Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award, honoring his decades-long contribution to country music.
The night also featured memorable performances from Kelsea Ballerini, Riley Green, Ella Langley, and Morgan Wallen, bringing energy and star power to the stage.
