Doncic’s 46 Points Lead Lakers Past Bulls 129-118

Luka Doncic dominated the Chicago Bulls on Monday night, scoring 46 points along with 11 assists and seven rebounds to guide the Los Angeles Lakers to a 129-118 victory at the United Center.

LeBron James added 24 points, with 20 coming in the first half, while Rui Hachimura contributed 23 points on 9-of-11 shooting. The Lakers improved to 3-1 on their eight-game road trip, bouncing back after last season’s sweep by the Bulls.

The Bulls were led by Coby White’s 23 points and Ayo Dosunmu’s 20, with Nikola Vucevic adding 18 points and 11 rebounds. Josh Giddey scored 19 points, but Chicago struggled from beyond the arc, hitting just 18 of 49 three-pointers.

Los Angeles pulled away in the third quarter with a 25-6 run, fueled by Doncic’s 20 points in the period and Marcus Smart’s timely three-point play. The Lakers shot 56% from the field and 16-of-33 from deep, controlling the game despite Chicago closing to 81-80 in the third quarter.

The win marks a strong statement for the Lakers as they continue their road trip, with Doncic proving once again why he remains one of the league’s most electrifying talents.
