LeBron James delivered another all-around performance, finishing with 20 points, 10 assists and seven rebounds as the Los Angeles Lakers beat the Golden State Warriors 105–99 on Saturday night in Los Angeles.
The Lakers earned their third straight win despite missing key pieces. Luka Dončić sat out with a mild hamstring strain, while center DeAndre Ayton was ruled out late because of a knee injury. Still, Los Angeles found enough offense and energy to close out the game down the stretch.
Newly acquired Luke Kennard made an immediate impact in his Lakers debut, scoring 10 points. His corner three-pointer and a well-timed assist to Jarred Vanderbilt for a dunk highlighted an 11–0 run late in the game that proved decisive. Rui Hachimura added 18 points, Austin Reaves scored 16, and Marcus Smart chipped in 15.
Golden State was led by Moses Moody, who scored 25 points, but the Warriors continued to struggle without Stephen Curry, who missed his third consecutive game due to a knee injury. The loss marked Golden State’s fourth defeat in its last six games.
The turning point came in the third quarter, when LeBron took control. After a technical foul on Draymond Green at the end of the first half set the tone, James scored 12 points in the period, knocking down two three-pointers and converting multiple three-point plays to push the Lakers ahead by eight.
Despite a late push from the Warriors, the Lakers held on, showing depth and resilience as they continue to build momentum even without their full lineup.
