Chloe Kim opened her 2026 Winter Olympics campaign in dominant fashion — and she had some star support in the crowd.
The two-time Olympic gold medalist finished first in women’s halfpipe qualifying in Livigno on Wednesday, advancing comfortably to the finals despite competing with a shoulder injury. As Kim began her title defense at the Milano Cortina Games, Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett was on-site cheering her on.
Garrett, a two-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year, traveled to Italy to support Kim, his girlfriend. Camera in hand, he was seen walking along the halfpipe and later shared that he was able to capture her entire run.
Kim’s performance reinforced her status as one of the sport’s biggest stars. Even while managing her injury, she delivered a composed and technically sharp run that put her at the top of the standings heading into the finals.
Garrett, meanwhile, is coming off a historic NFL season. In January, he broke the league’s single-season sack record and was unanimously voted AP Defensive Player of the Year for the second time in his nine-year career.
Rumors about the couple first surfaced last spring when they were spotted together at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards in Tokyo. Over the summer, Kim was seen attending Browns training camp practices, and the relationship became public in November when the pair shared a kiss on the sidelines following a Browns game.
Now, one of football’s most dominant defenders is showing his support for one of snowboarding’s most decorated athletes on the Olympic stage.
With Garrett in the stands and a finals berth secured, Kim continues her pursuit of another gold medal — this time with both momentum and meaningful support behind her.
