IL&FS Engineering Services wins Rs 173.13 cr pipeline laying contract

gailIL&FS Engineering and Construction Co.Ltd., a multi-national infrastructure development company, said it received a Rs 173.13 cr contract from Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL) for the laying and construction of pipeline at Kuttanad.

The total length of the 30-inch pipeline is 91 Km and has be completed in 24 months from date of acceptance and with additional 2 months for commissioning.

The Company is already executing a construction contract for Gas Authority of India Limited for laying and construction of pipeline along with associated works for pipeline replacement project in Gujarat region.

The Company is also currently executing a contract for Indian Strategic petroleum reserves limited (ISPRL), Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India, for laying of pipeline from land fall point (LFP), Mangalore Port to Mangalore/Padur Cavern via intermediate valve station (IVS) for storage of crude oil.
