AGC Networks to offer self-learning technology from UK’s Darktrace

agcDarktrace, a British cyber security company, said it partnered with AGC Networks, an India-based technology solutions provider to expand the market for the company´s self-learning technology.

“This partnership allows more and more organizations to benefit from Enterprise Immune System technology across Asia, helping defend against today’s advanced cyber-threats,” said Sanjay Aurora, Darktrace Managing Director, Asia-Pacific.

Darktrace is a cyber threat defense company. Its enterprise immune system technology detects and responds to previously unidentified threats, powered by machine learning and mathematics developed by specialists from the University of Cambridge.

Darktrace’s self-learning technology in sectors includes energy and utilities, financial services, telecommunications, healthcare, manufacturing, retail and transportation.

“By using machine learning and advanced mathematics, our customers are now able to detect subtle threats across enterprise and industrial networks before a crisis develops,” said Atul Khatavkar, Global Head of CYBER-i, the cyber security division of AGC.

AGC Networks is a global solution integrator based in Mumbai and dealing in unified communications, network infrastructure & data center, cyber security (CYBER-i) and enterprise applications.

The company has significant presence across Middle East, Africa, North America, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand and Philippines serving over 3000 customers.

The company’s CYBER-i has Intel security as its anchor solution provider. It specializes in end- to-end cyber security services such as high-end consulting, advisory, certification, processes, audit, compliance, etc.

 

Darktrace is headquartered in Cambridge, UK and San Francisco, with 20 global offices.
