Colgate-Palmolive to sell toothbrush factory at Waluj, Maharashtra

Colgate-Palmolive (India) Ltd said it has signed an agreement in regard the selling of toothbrush manufacturing facility located at Waluj, Aurangabad.

The manufacturing facility closed in May. Under the MOU, the land and building will be sold “as it is”.

The company said it has identified a suitable buyer, to whom the property will be sold on a mutual acceptable terms and conditions.

Financial details were not disclosed.

The Colgate-Palmolive Company is an American worldwide consumer products company focused on the production, distribution and provision of household, health care and personal products.

The company´s brands include Colgate, Palmolive, Speed Stick, Lady Speed Stick, Softsoap, Irish Spring, Protex, Sorriso, Kolynos, elmex, Tom’s of Maine, Sanex, Ajax, Axion, Fabuloso, Soupline and Suavitel, as well as Hill’s Science Diet, Hill’s Prescription Diet and Hill’s Ideal Balance.
