Dabur India announced a 1.2% growth in revenue to 1,923 cr from 1,901 for the April-June period as compared to the same period for the previous year, possibly due to reduced sales promotional activities.

The sales promotion expenditure came down by 12.5% to Rs 196.5 cr from 224.7 cr.

The reduced expenditure in advertisements seems to have hit the top line of the company though the profits grew by 11.8% to Rs 292.8 cr from Rs 261.6 cr.
