There are 10 models in 5.1 series and 15 models in the 4.1 series taking the total speaker portfolio to more than 70 models, said the company.
The new 2.1 speaker supports a USB port, SD card slot, Bluetooth connectivity and a built-in FM tuner.
The speakers output power is 40W+ 10W X 2, which is more than what most computer speaker sets offer.
Most computer speakers offer 10-15 watts via the sub-woofer and a total output of around 20 watt RMS.
However, the new Intex model is also costlier than most as typical computer speakers are priced around Rs 2,500 in India.
The new model comes with LED display and AUX Audio input compatible with DVD/PC/LCD TV.
It is operated via LED display giving consumers the experience of digital FM.
Nidhi Markanday, Director & Business Head said,”Intex has always provided consumers with best of the technology at competitive prices. We as a brand understand the pulse of consumers and hence been able to provide the innovative and stylish products catering the different age groups,”
