Spicejet adds 22 new flights

SpiceJet added 19 new domestic and 3 new international flights under its revised summer schedule, taking its total daily flights to 360.

New flights have been introduced in sectors like Surat-Jaipur, Surat-Hyderabad, Surat-Goa, Jammu-Dehradun, Jaipur- Chandigarh-Jammu, and Bengaluru-Thiruvananthapuram and Delhi- Thiruvananthapuram.

It said flight frequencies have been enhanced on sectors including Dehradun-Delhi and Bengaluru-Vijayawada — in which a third daily flight has been introduced, while a second direct flight has been started on the Bengaluru-Kochi sector.

On international routes, SpiceJet launched three new flights — Delhi-Bangkok, Kolkata-Dhaka and a flight from Bengaluru to Male via Thiruvananthapuram.

“We have enhanced our summer schedule, considering the upcoming vacations and passenger feedback,” said Shilpa Bhatia, Sr. VP in charge of commercial operations, SpiceJet.

“We will continue to add more flights to our network that will give our passengers more options to travel with us.”

SpiceJet is the airline with the highest occupancy rates in India and is ranked among the top four by passenger volumes.
