The project, which involves approximately 157,000 square meters (approximately 1.7 million sq. ft.) of saleable area , will be located in Sector 33.
“This project will offer and will be developed as a modern group housing development. This project is located just 12 kms from Golf Course Extension Road and offers easy access to Gurgaon from Sohna Road,” the Mumbai-based developer said.
This is Godrej’s first project in Sohna and eighth within the National Capital Region (NCR).
The company has built for itself a decent market position in Gurgaon, within five years of entering the NCR market. It said it “hopes to replicate this success in other parts of NCR.”
Sohna lies between Gurgaon on the west and Faridabad on the east. Though it is largely at the same distance as these two suburbs from Delhi, road connectivity is of a lower order. As such, the location is considered something of an upcoming real estate destination.
