Samsung Galaxy S6, Edge available in India for pre-booking at Rs 2000

Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge are now available in India for pre-booking on the company’s estore, and is priced at Rs 49,990 and Rs 58,900 respectively.

“Shipment starts from 10th April onwards,” the company said on its website.

To prebook, you have to pay Rs 2,000, and the balance has to be paid on or after April 10, as and when the company sends you an intimation to do so.

It is the 32-GB version of the two phones that are now available for prebooking in India. Those who want the 64-GB and 128 GB versions will have to wait longer.

Some of the features of the S6 include a metallic design adopted from “aircraft, yacht, and mountain bike technology”, light reflective 2.5D Gorilla Glass 4 and 4-hours worth of battery charging in ten minutes.

In addition, both the front and rear cameras of the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Edge feature higher resolution and F1.9 aperture, allowing for clearer pictures.

One of the key features of the S6 is the new 14-nm 64-bit processor and DDR4 RAM.

Of course, the 5.1″ display also has a Quad HD (2560 x 1440) resolution.
