Reliance Communications said it has tied up with other operators to offer free 3G roaming across India.

According to market sources, the operators are likely to be Tata DoCoMo and Aircel, and 3G subscribers of these two operators will also be able to roam on Reliance’s 3G network. RCom has 3G in Mumbai, Delhi and another 11 circles.

“Reliance Communications offers 3G services in 13 Circles nationally—Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Punjab, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Himachal Pradesh, Bihar, Orissa, Assam, North East, Jammu & Kashmir. With the new 3G roaming partnerships with other leading Indian telecom companies, customers of RCOM can now enjoy affordable and non-stop 3G data services across the country while roaming,” RCom said in a statement.

RCom 3g subscribers can now use high speed data in Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Kochi in the southern region of the country; UP-East and UP-West in North India; and Gujarat and Maharashtra in the western part of the country.
